Position Title: CDL Class B Driver / Laborer
Location: Griffin, Georgia (Must live within 30 minutes)
Shift: Evening Shift (3:30 PM to 12:00 AM)

Job Description:
We are looking for a physically strong and highly motivated CDL Class B Driver to join our team. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy manual labor, including shoveling, lifting, and working in confined spaces such as manholes. You will operate vacuum trucks to clean debris tanks and be constantly active, on your feet, and engaged in manual labor throughout the shift. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a CDL Class B vacuum truck to clean debris tanks on-site.

• Perform strenuous manual labor, including shoveling, lifting, and removing heavy debris from tanks.

• Work in confined spaces (such as manholes), assisting with cleaning and maintenance of tanks and pipes.

• Physically handle materials, tools, and equipment, including lifting and carrying heavy loads.

• Maintain a high level of physical endurance to perform repetitive tasks in challenging conditions.

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment at each job site.

• Follow strict safety protocols, especially for working in confined spaces, ensuring personal safety and the safety of others.

• Complete confined space entry training and follow all related safety procedures.

• Maintain and clean vacuum trucks and other equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure work is completed efficiently and safely.

 

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class B license.

• Physical strength and stamina to perform heavy lifting, shoveling, and manual tasks.

• Ability to work in confined spaces and willingness to undergo confined space entry training.

• Previous experience in physically demanding jobs, construction, or similar fields is a plus.

• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and work on your feet for extended periods.

• Strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality.

• Ability to safely operate and maintain vacuum trucks and other equipment.

• Must be available to work evening shifts (3:30 PM to 12:00 AM).

• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.

• Must live within 30 minutes of Griffin, Georgia.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with vacuum trucks or similar industrial equipment.

• Previous experience working in confined spaces.

Compensation:
Hourly wage ranging from $22 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.
